FORWARD AND REVERSE STARTER
Forward and reverse starter are use to rotate the three phase motor in both directions forward and reverse
Forward direction or clockwise - Generally three phase motor are connected in R. Y. and B phase then the motor running in forward or clockwise
Reverse direction or Anticlockwise - when motor running in forward direction, If we interchange any one phase then the motor running in reverse direction or Anticlockwise
Where we need to rotate the motor forward and reverse direction then we use the motor less than 5 HP because forward and reverse starter connect the motor directly with power supply. So we not run more than 5 HP motor with forward and reverse starter.
