What is Rectifier ?
Rectifier is an electrical device which convert Alternative Current (AC) into Direct Current DC by using one or more P-N junction diode.
A PN Junction diode allows the flow of electric current only forward bias condition and not allow in reverse bias condition or blocked in reverse bias condition.
In other words A diode allows the flow of electric current in only one direction.
This is the Unique property of a diode by which allows it to be acts like as a rectifier.
